I needed a program to be able to generate VB.Net codes based on a given database class diagrams and also maintaining relationship and inheritance!
I wanted to work with databases easier without worring about writing queries!
I also wanted to be able to change the way the program generates the code with no need to recompile the program. So I decided to do so by having some templates!
Using different templates, generates different codes! So I could able to improve the way the code is generated during the time and
based on my needs!
Later I decided to make it available online, so other programmers can use it anytime, anywhere and with installing nothing! But my time and specially my knowledge was limited until recently that I started learning SilverLight!
It was a great challenge/opportunity for me to follow my dream while learning SL and here is the result.
By clicking on the
Design menu, you are able to start working with the designer.
At this time, I am using the code generated by DDLGen (VB.Net template) in some project and so far, there is no bug! But due to lack of QA, you may find some bugs in the generated codes
and or website specially in other targeted languages!
I try my best to fix the bugs reported to me, but because I have a very busy calendar, I may not be able to fix them!
